How do I make a purchase?

To make a purchase, simply select the items you would like to order and add them to your shopping bag. You can then proceed through the checkout process and make a secure online payment using your credit card (Visa, Mastercard & American Express) or PayPal account. Once you have successfully placed your order, you will receive an automatic email confirmation.-*

Do I need an account to place an order?

You don’t need an account to place an order but having an account enables you to save your personal information and review previous orders. Please note that we do not retain any payment information within your account. You can create an account by clicking here or by opting in when placing an order.

Do you charge sales tax?

By law, we are required to collect sales tax VAT 18% on all the booking . The rate of tax will be displayed when placing your order.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

Terms and Conditions of East Africa Travel Company accepts bookings subject by considers terms and conditions outlined herein.

A 5% deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit forms part of the payment for the trip and shall be offset to the total amount charged to the client/agent.

The full amount needs to be paid one week before your tour. By contacting you may bring cash with you.

We accept credit cards under these conditions:
Payment may be made online or by our office. Partial payment of invoice amount is not permitted by this system. Contact us to have the invoice written for the payment amount intended. A 5% bank fee will be added to online payments.

How do I track my Booking?

Once your payment is received, you will receive an email notification. Please note that the confirmation of received payment can take up to 24 hours to update after your booking has been dispatched.

Cancellation?

Cancellations must be sent in writing (email is acceptable) to the office that confirmed the reservation. Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office. In case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full deposit.

If a booking is canceled the client is subject to a cancellation fee as follows:

Until 4 weeks prior to departure – 30% Cancellation Fee

4-2 weeks prior to departure – 50% Cancellation Fee

2-1 weeks prior to departure – 75% Cancellation Fee

Less than 1 week prior to departure – 100% Cancellation Fee
